MFM Daily Devotional for Today 12 October 2024 MESSAGE
As a soldier of Christ, you need to know the secrets of victory through violence. One day, some Christians were at a meeting and some masqueraders were parading and threatening the Christians.
One of the reverend gentlemen said that they should just leave them to do what they wanted to do, so that there would be no trouble. However, one violent Christian Brother said they were not going to allow them to carry out any ritual there.
The Brother prayed and called on the God of Jacob, and he rained the fire of the Holy Ghost upon the environment. Suddenly, the demons in the masquerades started to shout that there was fire all over the place and that they should leave immediately.

The priest who was to carry out the sacrifice shouted, saying that the sacrifice was not getting through and that the demons were complaining.
He acknowledged the fact that the Christians had a power that was more powerful than his and he surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ. This happened because some people got violent against the devil.
Beloved, let this be clear to you- the devil has no mercy and does not understand any other language than violence.
The stand of Jesus on the need for us to apply violence in spiritual warfare is clear and profound: He said, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” Here, Jesus is telling us that we should fight for the kingdom; that we should not sit and grumble.

In today’s Fire Scripture, Jacob prevailed and got God’s blessing because he was violent. For you to experience your desired divine change you need to be violent just as Jacob took his possession by force.
Today beloved, I want you to examine your life. See what you have and what you are supposed to have.
Get violent and be divinely dissatisfied! You must prevail through violence after the order of Jacob. Victory, breakthroughs, healing, deliverance and change of story to glory will come when you demonstrate holy violence.

By force and by fire, I jump out of the valley of shame and poverty, in the name of Jesus.

I come to You in humility and repentance, acknowledging my sins and my need for Your grace. Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God, who died for my sins and rose again to give me eternal life. I confess You as my Savior and Lord.
