Let Us Pray
Let’s pray in Jesus’ name!
Father, open my heart to learn from the unique experiences and perspectives of elders from all walks of life in Jesus name.
Father, grant me wisdom to recognize the value of their experience and knowledge, and to learn from them in Jesus name.
Father, show me ways to be a blessing to the elderly in my community, offering them support and companionship in Jesus name.
Father, in any way I have fallen short of Your glory, please, have mercy and forgive me; let Your mercy prevail over judgment of sin in my life, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, as I age, help me to live a life that is worthy of respect, reflecting Your character and wisdom in Jesus’ name.
Father, may my actions and words be an encouragement to younger generations in Jesus’ name.
Father, grant me the grace to age with dignity and purpose, continuing to learn and grow in my faith in Jesus’ name.
Father, guide me to dismantle any societal norms that lead to disrespect for elders based on their background in Jesus’ name.
Father, help me to be a voice for elders who may be marginalized or forgotten in society in Jesus’ name.
Father, help me see the inner strength and resilience of elders who have overcome life’s obstacles in Jesus’ name.
Father, guide parents and grandparents to be positive role models for younger generations, passing on faith and values in Jesus’ name.
Father, help families to connect and learn from each other, creating a strong and supportive community in Jesus’ name.
Father, bless the relationships between younger and older generations. Break down barriers and foster understanding in Jesus name.
Father, grant young people a teachable spirit, open to the wisdom and experience elders hold, in Jesus name.
Father, guide elders to communicate effectively, sharing their knowledge with patience and humility in Jesus name.
Father, create opportunities for open and honest communication between younger and older generations, Lord in Jesus name.
Father, break down communication barriers and encourage active listening between all age groups in Jesus name.
Father, may young people value the wisdom and experience of elders, and elders appreciate the fresh perspective and energy of youth in Jesus name
Father, guide elders to be patient and supportive mentors, offering guidance without imposing in Jesus’ name
Father, open the hearts of young people to receive mentorship and learn from the experience of elders, in Jesus’ name.
Father, teach young people humility, Lord, to recognize there is always more to learn, regardless of age in Jesus’ name.
Father, grant elders a spirit of continuous learning, open to new ideas and perspectives in Jesus’ name
Father, help both young and old to approach life with a desire to learn and grow in Jesus’ name.
Father, please uplift my nation (mention your country) and let Your peace reign in our lands, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, please continue to give Your son, Pastor E. A. Adeboye, and his household the grace to stand for You and continue to share edifying messages with Your children around the world, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, bless everyone dedicating their time to pray through these prayers at the point of their needs. Give them the grace to share/rebroadcast, in Jesus’ name.
