The Lord Jesus Christ promised to send the Holy Spirit to continue the work He started when He came to the world. Mentoring is the process of training, advising the younger and the less experienced with the goal of making them achieve desired goals.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Mentor of mentors, in Matthew 4:19 invited His disciples to His mentoring programme. His goal was to make them evangelists who will share the gospel of salvation to all men.

By Matthew 28:20, He had completed His mentoring programme and sent them as evangelists to go and fish for men all over the world and make them His disciples.

All parents, teachers and church leaders have the responsibility to mentor the youths under their care to enable them fulfill divine purposes for their lives – Proverbs 22:6.

LESSON AIM: To ensure that youths are mentored diligently in God’s pattern.
